STAAD.Pro is a widely used software suite for structural analysis and design. This paper presents the design and implementation of a lightweight, standalone STAAD.Pro File Viewer that enables visualization of node coordinates, member properties, support conditions, load cases, and analysis results without a license. The viewer parses the open text-based structure of .std files, renders 3D models using OpenGL, and provides basic query tools. A case study demonstrates its utility in reducing licensing bottlenecks and improving design review efficiency.
