  • Right-click the PenTablet_5.3.5-3.exe file and select Run as Administrator.
  • Follow the on-screen wizard. Do not plug in the tablet until the installer says "Please connect your device."
  • Once the progress bar completes, reboot your computer.
  • Plug in the CTE-660. The blue LED ring should light up.
  • You cannot use the CTE-660 on an Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) Mac running macOS 12+. Your options are:

    After reboot, open the Wacom Tablet Properties (or Bamboo Preferences): Right-click the PenTablet_5

    Even with the correct driver, you might hit these walls.

    Installing a legacy driver requires a clean slate. If you have previously installed any Wacom driver (new or old), you must perform a clean uninstall first.

    For the Wacom Bamboo CTE-660, the "Gold Master" driver is 5.3.5-3 for Windows and 5.3.7-2 for macOS Mojave.
