The e up! manual correctly notes the fluid reservoir holds 3.5 liters. What it doesn't say: the fluid level sensor is hyper-sensitive to conductivity. Using distilled water without additives will trigger a false "low fluid" warning. Use VW-spec G052164M2 or a low-conductivity fluid.

The official manual says "take to dealer." In reality, you can replace the small 12V battery (under the hood, passenger side). But you must keep the car’s computer alive. Use a 9V backup memory keeper on the OBD port. If you don’t, the car will "forget" the high-voltage battery’s state of charge, and the range display will be wrong for 3 full charge cycles. Range Display: The manual admits this is a
