Uis7862 Firmware Guide

Navigate to: Settings → System → About Machine (or enter code *#*#888 or *#*#123 in the dialer).

Many users run stock firmware for years without issues. However, there are several scenarios where a firmware update becomes necessary:

Step 1: Prepare the USB Copy the firmware ZIP file (e.g., update_7862_20231025.zip) directly to the root directory of the USB drive. Do not rename the file. uis7862 firmware

Step 2: Enter System Update

Step 3: Select "Local Update" Insert the USB drive. The unit should detect the ZIP file. Select it. Navigate to: Settings → System → About Machine

Step 4: The Reboot Tap "Confirm" or "Update". The screen will go black and reboot into a recovery terminal (text on black background).

Do not turn off the car. Do not touch the USB drive. Step 3: Select "Local Update" Insert the USB drive

Step 5: The Flash You will see a progress bar. This takes approximately 3–5 minutes.

Step 6: Reboot The unit will reboot automatically. The first reboot after flashing takes up to 10 minutes (Dexopt optimization). Do not panic if you see "Android is starting..." for a long time.

Step 7: Factory Reset (Highly Recommended) After the update, go to Settings -> Factory Settings (Password: 8888 or 1617) -> Clear Data. This prevents old app data from crashing the new system.
