Install both vcredist_x86_2010 SP1 and DirectX June 2010 Redist. Even on 64-bit Windows, the cracked .exe is 32-bit and requires the x86 runtimes.
The Blackbox crack typically disables multiplayer. However, a specific "Co-op Crack Fix" exists that tricks the game into thinking you are on a LAN.
Warning: This is for local co-op or VPN networks (Radmin VPN/ZeroTier) only. Official servers are long dead.
The Fix:
Important: Do not use this Future Soldier.exe for single-player. It will crash on the first mission. Keep two separate executables: one for single-player (the main fix) and one for co-op.

The cracked .exe expects the folder C:\Users\[YourName]\Documents\My Games\Ghost Recon Future Soldier\ to exist before launch.
The Blackbox repack was popular for its high compression ratio (shrinking the ~15GB game to under 5GB). It included a specific crack from the SKIDROW team. However, a conflict arose on newer (at the time) hardware and software configurations: Important: Do not use this Future Soldier
The symptom was universal: You launch GRFS.exe. You see the Ubisoft logo. Then—blackness. No menu, no error message. Just the Windows cursor and silence.
