--- Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Dlc Characters Ps3 Download (2024)

Because the PS3 is now a legacy console, you might encounter problems. Here are the most common and how to solve them.

Unlike modern fighting games that release characters over a long "season" pass, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 had a relatively straightforward DLC roster. The characters were initially released as "Pre-Order" bonuses before becoming general paid DLC.

The four DLC characters are:

Note: There was also a "Big Character Pack" which included these fighters, and Dr. Bosconovitch was available as a pre-order bonus (included in the Wii U version by default). --- Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Dlc Characters Ps3 Download

Not to be confused with the standard "True Ogre" found in the base roster, Ancient Ogre is his original, more humanoid form from Tekken 3. This version is a grappler with powerful throw chains and devastating counter-hit tools. He represents a classic boss character that many players wanted to master.

Just like Violet is to Lee, Slim Bob is a lighter, faster version of the heavy-hitting Bob. After losing weight, Slim Bob sacrifices raw power for incredible speed, wall-carry potential, and combo extensions. He plays radically differently from normal Bob and was initially a pre-order bonus for Tekken 6 save owners.

Note on Snoop Dogg: You may see references to Snoop Dogg as DLC. While Snoop Dogg appears as a stage background character and a non-playable cameo in the PlayStation-exclusive "Tekken Tunes" mode, he is not a playable fighter. Do not confuse him with these four characters. Because the PS3 is now a legacy console,

It is a common misconception that all DLC for TTT2 was character-based. Perhaps the most vital piece of DLC was not a fighter, but a stage. The haunting, atmospheric stage known as "Unknown" (where the final boss battle takes place) was not included on the disc by default. It was provided as free DLC. If a player acquires a used copy of the game today and plays offline, they will notice that selecting the "Unknown" stage results in a default随机 (random) background. To get the actual stage with its iconic music and visuals, the "Unlock Unknown" patch is required.

In North America and Europe, pre-ordering from specific retailers unlocked:

Important Clarification: Unlike some rumors, Tekken 3’s Dr. Bosconovitch or Gon are not available as DLC for TTT2 on PS3. The above four remain the only genuine playable DLC additions. Note: There was also a "Big Character Pack"

What if your PS3’s store is permanently blocked, or you cannot connect to PSN?

The PS3 emulator RPCS3 can run TTT2, and some community builds allow you to unlock DLC characters via configuration files. However, this requires a powerful PC and is legally gray unless you dump your own disc and DLC licenses.
