If you own a previous version of Synthage, the upgrade path is straightforward:
New users can purchase a full license for $149 (introductory price of $99 for the launch week) or subscribe to the "Synthage Pro" bundle, which includes V1.4 plus three expansion packs.
Tested on three public datasets (Adult Census, CIC-IDS-2017 for cybersecurity, and MIMIC-III for healthcare) against SDV, Gretel, and YData.
| Metric | SDV (Copula) | Gretel (LSTM) | Synthage V1.4 | | :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- | | Statistical similarity (KS-test) | 0.21 | 0.15 | 0.06 | | Correlation preservation (Pearson $\rho$) | 0.73 | 0.81 | 0.96 | | ML utility (XGBoost F1) | 0.84 | 0.89 | 0.97 (vs real 0.99) | | Time to generate 1M rows | 12 sec | 47 sec | 8 sec (optimized CUDA kernels) | Synthage V1.4
Note: Lower KS-test is better; max correlation is 1.0.
No launch is without hiccups. Based on early adopters, here are the most frequently reported issues with Synthage V1.4 and their fixes:
Issue: GSL sequencer not syncing to DAW tempo in Logic Pro. If you own a previous version of Synthage,
Issue: High CPU usage when using "Uber-Unison" mode (16+ voices).
The development team is highly responsive, with a hotfix (V1.4.1) expected within two weeks.

Previous synthetic data generators (SDG) suffered from three fatal flaws: mode collapse (ignoring rare events), privacy leakage (memorizing real rows), and non-stationarity (inability to adapt to temporal drifts).
Synthage V1.4 introduces the Causal Consistency Layer.
