  • At golden hour, campers trace each other’s shadows using sticks in the dirt. The person who creates the longest continuous shadow shape (by lying down, stretching, or climbing a small hill) is crowned “Shadow Monarch.”

Materials: Green willow branches, milkweed fluff, squirrel tail fur (shed only). The Game: Using the "v016 exclusive" bow design (a tension-bent sapling with a nettle fiber string), players fire "quiet arrows"—tufts of milkweed wrapped in fur. The target is a hollow log with distinct entry holes. The goal is not power, but acoustic precision. Each hole produces a different note. Players must play a 4-note sequence by shooting arrows into the correct holes from 20 paces.

Materials: River stones, charcoal, animal bones. The Game: A completely digital-free scavenger hunt. Counselors hide "glyph stones" (stones painted with charcoal juice) in a 5-acre sector. One team member must memorize a symbol drawn in the dirt, run into the woods, find the matching stone, and return. However, they can only move if the wind is blowing through the pines—teaching patience and atmospheric awareness.
