Start by selecting the "Very High" preset, then manually lower the following specific settings to gain massive FPS with minimal visual loss.
| Setting | Recommended Value | Why? | | :--- | :--- | :--- | | Ray Tracing | Off (or Low) | The biggest FPS killer. Turn this off completely for maximum frames. | | Texture Quality | High | Relies on VRAM. Does not impact FPS much if you have enough video memory. | | Shadow Quality | Medium | High/Ultra shadows are GPU heavy. Medium looks great and runs fast. | | Ambient Occlusion | SSAO or GTAO | Switching from "Ray Traced" to Screen Space saves significant FPS. | | Depth of Field | Off | Only affects cutscenes, but turning it off saves resources. | | Geometry Detail | High | Affects draw distance. Keep high to avoid "pop-in." | | Traffic Density | Medium | Reduces the number of cars on the street, helping CPU performance. | | Crowd Density | Low | Huge CPU saver. Reduces pedestrian counts in busy areas. |
