Prior versions had a slight miscalculation in the GPU draw time measurement, particularly for DirectX 12 and Vulkan titles.
Version 5.5.0 introduced the ability to install Add-ons (different from standard effects like MXAO or SMAA). However, the UI for enabling/disabling these add-ons was buggy—sometimes requiring a game restart to register a toggle.
The best feature of 5.5.1 is the updated preset editor. Here is a starter preset for darkening bright HUD elements and adding sharpness: reshade 5.5.1
