If none of the standard recovery methods work:
If you suspect your login issue is due to a hacker (e.g., your password works but the name/email changed, or you were locked out suddenly), you need a specific "report" page.
From the Facebook home page:
This dedicated "Hacked" page allows you to report that an unauthorized person took over your account. It bypasses the standard password reset flow and flags the issue for Facebook's security team.
From the main Facebook home page (desktop or mobile browser), look directly below the blue “Log In” button. You will see one of two links:
Click this link. This is your official gateway to reporting any login-related issue.
If you have previously set up Trusted Contacts (a security feature Facebook unfortunately phased out for many accounts but still exists for legacy users), you can use them to report a login issue.
It is critical to distinguish between two different types of "reporting."
If the home page itself is broken (e.g., you see a white screen or error code), but you technically could log in if the page worked, then you should use the "Report a Problem" feature. However, you can only access that if you are logged in. Since you are reading this article, you likely cannot log in. In that case, use the Facebook Help Community (accessible via Google search for "Facebook Help Community") to describe the home page bug.
