In 2017, Hurricane Maria, a category-5 storm, severely impacted Puerto Rico, demolishing homes and communication infrastructure. To address this issue, the ClusterDuck Protocol (CDP) was developed in 2018. It utilizes battery-powered Internet-of-Things devices to reestablish essential communication during emergencies, allowing civilians to request assistance, share their locations, and receive vital information from local governments and responders.
The ClusterDuck Protocol runs on a variety of IoT hardware, including many ESP32 Arduinos.
Here is a list of hardware we use, though there may be many others that work. We recommend the Heltec LoRa ESP32 and the TTGO T-Beam ESP32.
For a simple network you will want to make at least two Ducks. For bigger networks you will need more.
To start developing, you will need PlatformIO on your computer.
Download or git clone the CDP library from GitHub.
Follow the installation instructions here
Please Note: With the Release of the ClusterDuck Protocol Version 4 we have different instructions. If you are looking for older instructions please go here
Connect your board to platform IO
Follow the these updates instructions for loading up a Duck to get one running.
Use the pre-built examples or develop custom Ducks of your own.

If BBC Blackcream pertains to adult content, then generating content while maintaining a professional tone and adhering to platform guidelines is crucial.
Queen Marika — as an emblem of divine sovereignty, cyclical rupture, and rewritten myth — maps onto BBC Blackcream’s interest in reclaiming mythic space for Black British narratives. Both deploy myth-making to contest dominant historical narratives: Marika through cosmic sovereignty and fragmented lineage; Blackcream through reclamation and reconfiguration of cultural memory and futurity.
This article examines the cultural, thematic, and aesthetic intersections between the Elden Ring character Queen Marika and the BBC Blackcream project (theater/film/visual series — interpreted here as a contemporary multimedia reimagining that blends Black British cultural production with surrealist aesthetics). I assume “BBC Blackcream” refers to a recent BBC-backed multimedia/art series emphasizing Black British identity and speculative aesthetics; if you meant a different project, note the alternate interpretation at the end.
This structure should help you draft a comprehensive and engaging guide. Please adjust the content to fit the specific needs and context of your project.
In the Dark Lands of the InterNet
In a world where realms collided, Queen Marika, the esteemed queen of the Lands Between from the Elden Ring universe, found herself on a peculiar quest. Known for her unwavering resolve and demi-god bloodline, Marika was approached by an unexpected emissary - a representative from the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), renowned for its credible journalism and captivating documentaries.
The BBC envoy explained to Queen Marika that they were on a mission to explore the mystique of "Black Cream," a fabled concoction rumored to have the power to amalgamate diverse tastes into a harmonious blend. Intrigued by the concept and its potential to bring solace to her troubled lands, Marika agreed to collaborate.
Together, they embarked on a surreal journey through digital realms, seeking the essence of Black Cream. Their quest led them through virtual cafés, where Marika marveled at the peculiar customs of the internet age, including the revered tradition of the "afternoon tea." The BBC team was astonished by her grace and strength, qualities that seemed to transcend time and space.
As they neared their goal, they encountered various characters, each with their own tales and quests. There was the enigmatic Barista of the Digital Realm, who possessed knowledge of the ancient "Recipe for Unity." There were also the cheerful Critics, who debated the merits of Black Cream with fervor. queen marika x bbc blackcream updated
Ultimately, their search concluded with a grand ceremony, where Queen Marika and the BBC team unveiled the updated Black Cream. This magical blend was not just a flavor but a symbol of unity and understanding, born from the convergence of diverse perspectives.
The ceremony was broadcasted live across the multiverse, with Queen Marika proclaiming, "In a world as vast and varied as ours, it's the shared experiences and the pursuit of harmony that define us." And so, the legend of Queen Marika and the BBC's quest for Black Cream spread, inspiring others to seek out and celebrate the bonds that unite different worlds and peoples.
