Sony has now abandoned the PS3 (no new firmware since 4.89 in early 2022). The latest supported version is MultiMan 4.89, but for 99% of users, 4.88 remains the gold standard. If you are on CFW 4.89 or 4.90, you must install a newer version of MultiMan (4.89.xx or 4.90.xx). However, for users rocking Evilnat 4.88.2 CFW, the 4.88 download is the most stable experience.
Do not attempt to install a 4.90 MultiMan on a 4.88 PS3. It will fail. Always match the MultiMan major version to your firmware major version.
