The Marker Editor is a lightweight third-party utility that allows players to see exactly what is hidden behind the "bonus markers" after defeating a Blacklist racer. In the original game, you had to guess between three markers for Pink Slips (winning the opponent's car), Unique Upgrades, and Cash. The Marker Editor reveals these hidden icons, allowing you to pick exactly what you want.
Let’s walk through replacing the generic "Pinstripe" marker with your own logo.
Step 1: Unpack the Game Files
Use NFS-Viv to open CARS.VIV. Extract all files into a new folder called CARS_UNPACKED. You are looking for files named MARKER__xxx (where xxx are numbers/letters). nfs mw marker editor free
Step 2: Launch the Marker Editor
Open MW_Marker_Editor.exe. Click "File" > "Open." Navigate to your CARS_UNPACKED folder. You will see a list of every single marker in the game.
Step 3: Create Your Art
In Photoshop or GIMP (free), create a 128x128 or 256x256 image. The background must be transparent (checkered pattern). Save it as 32-bit TGA. The Marker Editor is a lightweight third-party utility

In the Editor, scroll to an unused or ugly marker (e.g., flame_01). Select it. Click "Import." Choose your .TGA file. The editor will show a preview.
Step 5: Save and Repack
