Once downgraded, your printer will forget the "update available" nag. You will see the old green UI theme instead of the new blue one.

Do not connect to WiFi immediately. The first thing the printer does when it sees the internet is download the forced update package again. Go into Settings -> Network -> Forget SSID. Run it offline forever.
