Password: Mdaemon Default Admin

Start the service again. The Admin account will now have no password. Log in immediately and set a new strong password.

Security Note: Perform this in a secure, isolated environment (no public network access) to avoid unauthorized access during the passwordless window.


If you inherited a server and do not know the admin password, you cannot simply "reset" it to default without data access. mdaemon default admin password

To recover access, you generally need local access to the server machine itself:

  • Once in the Account Manager, locate the admin account and assign a new password.
  • MDaemon includes brute-force protection features related to admin accounts. Start the service again

    If you are logged into the Windows server where MDaemon is installed:
