His transformation from a naive, drunken henchman to a paranoid tyrant is chilling. His eyes do most of the talking, conveying fear, lust, and insanity in equal measure.
2. Laili (Sohini Sarkar) Sohini Sarkar redefines the character of Lady Macbeth for the Bengali audience. She is fierce, manipulative, yet deeply tragic. Laili is not just a villain; she is a woman shaped by a patriarchal society who uses the only weapon she has: her influence over her husband. Sarkar’s performance is arguably the best of her career.
