Live+view+axis+exclusive

Gimbals (DJI RS4 Pro, Zhiyun Crane) rely on axis motors. When a camera features a "Live View Axis Exclusive" handshake protocol (usually via a control cable), the gimbal can read the camera's live roll/pitch data. This allows for "Exclusive" features like automated horizon levelling that adjusts the gimbal's motor based on what the sensor sees, not just the IMU. The result is buttery smooth, axis-locked footage that feels almost mechanical.

Why is this separation necessary? Why is "Axis Exclusive" more than just a buzzword? It boils down to three operational pillars: live+view+axis+exclusive

Implementing a Live View Axis Exclusive model requires more than just a toggle switch. It relies on three technical pillars: Gimbals (DJI RS4 Pro, Zhiyun Crane) rely on axis motors
