The Exclusive Activity: After reading the story, students create a split-character map. On the left side: “Felix as a Friend.” On the right side: “Felix as a Fighter.” They must pull three direct quotes from the text for each side.
The Twist – The Judgment Line: Draw a vertical line down the middle. Students then place a marker showing which identity weighs more at the climax of the story. Then, they write a 1-minute defense. Participation & collaboration (up to 5 pts)
