State of the art timing analysis
with industry-hardened methods and tools.
...with industry-hardened methods and tools. T1 empowers and enables. T1 is the most frequently deployed timing tool in the automotive industry , being used for many years in hundreds of mass-production projects.
As a worldwide premiere, the ISO 26262 ASIL‑D certified T1-TARGET-SW allows safe instrumentation based timing analysis and timing supervision. In the car. In mass-production.
T1.timing comes with two extension options. Add-on product T1.streaming provides the possibility to stream trace data continuously — over seconds, minutes, hours or even days. Add-on product T1.posix supports POSIX operating systems such as Linux or QNX.
T1.timing comes with a modular concept and several plug-ins which are described in the following. Plug-ins can be easily enabled or disabled at compile-time using dedicated compiler switches such as T1_DISABLE_T1_CONT. To disable T1 altogether, it is sufficient to disable compiler switch T1_ENABLE which leaves the system in a state as of before the T1 integration.
Indonesia has one of the world’s highest TikTok usage rates (~100 million active users). Key trends:
Beyond horror, action star Joe Taslim (of The Raid and Mortal Kombat fame) has spearheaded a revival of Laga (martial arts) cinema. While The Raid (2011) put Indonesia on the international action map, the new wave is trying to deconstruct that violence. Films like The Big 4 and Teluh Darah mix slapstick comedy with brutal Pencak Silat choreography, creating a uniquely Indonesian tone that is "familiarly violent."
The most successful streaming genre is the Rom-Com-Drama, or what locals call "Drama Cinta Modern." Shows like My Lecturer My Husband (yes, that is the title) and Antares mix the melodrama of Turkish dizis with the aesthetic of Korean dramas. The result is a hybrid culture: Indonesian problems (parental pressure, religious conservatism, economic disparity) wearing Seoul fashion.
| Era | Dominant Form | Characteristics | |------|----------------|------------------| | Pre-1960s | Wayang kulit (shadow puppet theater), gamelan, keroncong | Oral traditions, courtly/folk fusion, Dutch influence | | 1970s–1980s | Dangdut, soap operas (sinetron) | Working-class, Islamic-infused pop; state-controlled TV (TVRI) | | 1990s–2000s | Indie rock, reality TV, VCD/DVD piracy | Post-Suharto openness; regional stars (Iwan Fals, Slank) | | 2010s–present | Streaming (Netflix, Vidio), TikTok, YouTube, K-pop fandom | Algorithm-driven; user-generated content; hyperlocal niches |
Key transition: The 1998 Reformasi not only ended authoritarian rule but also deregulated media, allowing private networks (RCTI, SCTV, Trans TV) to import and produce more diverse content.
Despite streaming growth, Bajakan (piracy) is the default. For every person paying for Netflix, ten are watching a shaky cam recording on Telegram. The local joke is that Indonesian movie premieres are "free on Telegram by 8:05 PM." Studios have tried to fight this by shortening the gap between theatrical release and streaming release, but the pirate lords of the Indihome fiber networks remain undefeated.
Looking ahead, Indonesian pop culture is betting on Gaming and Animation.
The game DreadOut (a horror game using an Indonesian smartphone to fight ghosts) was a global indie hit. Meanwhile, local animation studios are producing Nussa (a wholesome Islamic children's cartoon) which has amassed billions of YouTube views, proving that religious content can be commercially viable without being preachy.
Furthermore, the Webtoon industry is exploding. Digital comics from Indonesia (like Si Juki and Tahilalats) are being translated into English and Korean, exporting Indonesian humor and civic commentary to a global audience.
For POSIX-based projects, see T1.posix.

| Target Interface | Comment |
|---|---|
| CAN | Low bandwidth requirement: typically one CAN message every 1 to 10ms. The bandwidth consumed by T1 is scalable and strictly deterministic. |
| CAN FD | Low bandwidth requirement: typically one CAN message every 1 to 10ms. The bandwidth consumed by T1 is scalable and strictly deterministic. |
| Diagnostic Interface | The diagnostic interface supports ISO14229 (UDS) as well as ISO14230, both via CAN with transportation protocol ISO15765-2 (addressing modes 'normal' and 'extended'). The T1-HOST-SW connects to the Diagnostic Interface using CAN. |
| Ethernet (IP:TCP, UDP) | TCP and UDP can be used, IP-address and port can be configured. |
| FlexRay | FlexRay is supported via the diagnostic interface and a CAN bridge. |
| Serial Line | Serial communication (e.g. RS232) is often used if no other communication interfaces are present. On the PC side, an USB-to-serial adapter is necessary. |
| JTAG/DAP | Interfaces exist to well-known debug environments such as Lauterbach TRACE32, iSYSTEM winIDEA and PLS UDE. The T1 JTAG interface requires an external debugger to be connected and, for data transfer, the target is halted. TriCore processors use DAP instead of JTAG. |
