The TC580 has programmable side keys (P1, P2, and Top).
Open the HYT TC580 software. Click the "Read" button (often an icon of a radio with a green arrow). Wait 10-20 seconds. The software will pull the current codeplug (data file) from the radio. Always save the original file (File > Save As > "Original_Backup.hyt").
