Why Watch/Read: If you grew up loving Naruto or Bleach, Jujutsu Kaisen is the modern evolution of the genre. The animation by MAPPA is fluid and breathtaking, and the power system ("Cursed Energy") is complex but rewarding. In the manga, author Gege Akutami isn’t afraid to get dark, making the stakes feel incredibly real.
Why it’s popular: Attack on Titan is the "Game of Thrones" of anime. It starts as a simple revenge story—humanity lives inside giant walls to hide from man-eating Titans. But by season two, it morphs into a complex geopolitical drama about war crimes, racism, and the cyclical nature of hatred.
Recommendation: Watch the anime. The soundtrack by Hiroyuki Sawano is legendary, and the animation studio (WIT Studio then MAPPA) delivers cinematic quality. Avoid online spoilers at all costs.
