To share or move a character, you generally need to use local saves to ensure the game recognizes the new files without cloud conflicts.

Disable Cloud Saving: Go to the in-game Options > General menu and uncheck "Cloud Saving." You should also disable it in the Steam Library properties for Grim Dawn.
