In vanilla Granny, you are completely helpless. The Buttery Mod Pack changes that. You can find a Shotgun (with limited ammo), a Stun Baton, and even a Hammer to temporarily knock Granny unconscious. This reduces the "hide-and-seek" stress, replacing it with a risk-reward combat system.
Because Granny is a relatively lightweight game originally designed for mobile and later ported to PC, the system requirements for running the mod pack are low.
The mod adds a subtle (but terrifying) sliding movement to Granny when she turns corners. It’s smooth, unexpected, and will cause you to panic.
