The Teacher's Corner
Some old internet rumors suggest that if you use a third-party viewer, you can see stalkers. This is false. The "Poke" feature (which still exists but is hidden) has nothing to do with profile views.
On every post you make (photo, status, video), click "View Insights" (available on mobile and desktop). You will see:
The most common scam is a fake login page. The tool will ask you to "verify your account" by entering your Facebook email and password. Once you do, the scammers capture your credentials and take over your account. They can then lock you out, spam your friends, or use your account for fraud.
Even after reading this, some users will swear they used a "facebook profile viewer online" that worked. Why?
You are asked to install a browser extension (Chrome, Firefox, Edge). Once installed, this extension reads your browsing history, steals your cookies (allowing hackers to stay logged into your Facebook account even after you change your password), and injects advertisements into every website you visit.
While you cannot see everyone who visits your profile, Facebook does offer two legitimate "viewer" features—but they are likely not what you are looking for.
