Since I can't browse live mod sites or know exactly which mod you mean (there are thousands), I’ll write a general but informative piece about what it typically means when a community says "[Mod Name] ETS 2 v1.x fixed" — and how players should approach such fixes.
If you are playing vanilla ETS 1 and want to "fix" or modernize the experience:

If you see Unable to find material errors, search online for the missing texture (e.g., /material/ui/logo.dds). Place it in the correct folder inside the mod archive. Many "fixed" mods simply replace missing textures with placeholder ones from the base game.
Look for a version.txt or manifest.sii file. If the mod was made for ETS 1.0, you’ll need to update several parameters:
The most common cause of mod failure is version mismatch. ETS 1 went through several official patches (1.0 to 1.3). A mod created for version 1.0 will almost certainly crash on version 1.3, and vice versa. When the community says "ets 1 mod fixed," they typically mean a mod has been updated to a specific patch level (usually 1.3).
