This is the most reliable "free" method for downloading 360 photos posted by others. It requires using your browser’s Inspector tool (Chrome, Firefox, Edge). No software installation is required.
Disclaimer: This method works as of 2025. Facebook occasionally changes its code, but the logic remains similar.
The "Download" button only appears for content you uploaded. For other users, that button is replaced with "Report Photo" or "Save Post."
For frequent downloaders, extensions are the gold standard.
Warning: Do not install extensions that ask for "Read and change all your data on facebook.com" unless they are open-source and well-reviewed. Malicious extensions steal login cookies.
