The legacy AI maps (like 6.72f) were infamous for their stupidity. Allies would walk into five enemies, never use BKB, or steal last hits. The 6.90 AI New engine fixes these pain points.

Vanilla 6.83 had around 110 heroes. Map 6.90 pushes that number to 120+, including: dota 1 map 690 ai new

The "new" AI uses a threat calculation model. If you are below 40% HP and visible on the minimap, two mid heroes will rotate to your lane via the river rune path. During team fights, the AI prioritizes: Healers > Disablers > Carries. They also kite back when their HP drops below 25%, something the old AI never did. Want to contribute
