التصفير لا يعني مسح الذاكرة بالكامل أو حذف إعدادات الشبكة. بل هو إعادة تعيين عداد داخلي يحسب عدد مرات تنظيف رأس الطباعة. تحتوي طابعات ابسون على "وسادة حبر" (Ink Pad) تمتص الحبر الزائد أثناء التنظيف. عندما يمتلئ هذا العداد، تقوم الطابعة بقفل نفسها لحماية منع تسرب الحبر. تصفير الطابعة يخبرها بأن الوسادة قد تم استبدالها (حتى لو لم تقم باستبدالها فعلياً)، مما يسمح لها بمواصلة العمل.

Graphics & Colors: Standard document graphs and charts look great. However, this is a 4-color (CMYK) printer, not a 6-color photo printer. but in standard quality
Speed: Don't expect lightning. Black text prints at roughly 10 pages per minute (ppm) in draft mode, but in standard quality, it drops to 3-4 ppm. Photos take 60-90 seconds. It’s fine for home use but slow for heavy office work.
