Because v1.37.2.6 predates CS2's subtick system, it utilizes the classic 64-tick update rate for official matchmaking and 128-tick for community servers. This era of CS:GO introduced the expanded Ping System

However, the "-Full Edition-" is famous for a specific network variable: sv_maxusrcmdprocessticks set to 2 by default. This allowed for a "jitter buffer" that made the game feel significantly smoother on 64-tick than any subsequent update. For the modding community: This version's server.dll and client.dll files were the last to be fully decompilable without obfuscation. As a result, CS: GO v1.37.2.6 -Full Edition- became the base for thousands of custom game modes, including Surf_, KZ_, and Jailbreak servers. The famous "HNS" (Hide and Seek) physics were perfected in this release.

This patch included the highly controversial and impactful Desert Eagle (Deagle) nerf.
