Colorku Puzzle Cards Pdf

  • Check no color repeats in any row/column/box.

  • ColorKu is a color-based logic puzzle similar to Sudoku, but instead of numbers 1–9, you use 9 distinct colors.
The goal: fill a 9×9 grid so that each color appears exactly once in each row, column, and 3×3 region.

Puzzle cards are printable sheets (PDF) containing one or more ColorKu grids, often with some pre-filled color cells as clues.

Many educators have created original “Color Sudoku” or “Colorku-style” puzzles that are legally distinct but functionally identical. Prices range from free to $3.99 for a bundle of 50 puzzle cards. Search for “color logic puzzles PDF.” colorku puzzle cards pdf

Once you’ve downloaded your file, you have three primary ways to play:

If you own a wooden Colorku board, you can use the PDF cards as challenge prompts. Simply look at the printed “starter” grid and place the corresponding colored marbles on your board before solving. Check no color repeats in any row/column/box

If you have downloaded a colorku puzzle cards pdf for the first time, the notation might be confusing. Since printing in full color is expensive, most PDFs use color abbreviations.

Here is the standard legend you will find on a typical PDF: ColorKu is a color-based logic puzzle similar to

    | Abbreviation | Color Name | | :--- | :--- | | R | Red | | O | Orange | | Y | Yellow | | LG | Light Green | | DG | Dark Green | | LB | Light Blue | | DB | Dark Blue | | Pk | Pink | | Pr | Purple |

Some advanced PDFs use a single letter (R, O, Y, G, B, U [for blue], K [for pink], P, L). Always check the key on the first page of your PDF before starting.

Most PDF collections are organized by difficulty: Beginner, Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert. This allows you to start your 6-year-old with a 4x4 pastel grid and work up to the full 9x9 chromatic nightmare.
