Chained Together Update V1 8 4-tenoke <2025-2026>

Several "skip" exploits have been removed. The infamous volcano launch glitch (where players could chain-jump off a specific rock to bypass 12 floors) is gone. Additionally, the pause-menu desync (which allowed a solo player to move while others were frozen) has been patched.

TENOKE’s crack notes highlight a tweak to the chain’s rigidbody dynamics. Previously, the chain could clip through geometry, causing players to get stuck inside walls or floors. Update v1.8.4 introduces collision dampening. The chain now treats environment edges with more friction, reducing the “infinite slide” glitch on narrow beams.

If you’re looking for a stable, crack-only version of Chained Together without forced Steam updates, v1.8.4 from TENOKE is the way to go. Gather your friends (or your worst enemies), attach that chain, and try not to drag each other into the void.

The underlying lore suggests that the players are souls who betrayed their allies in life, now forced to rely on those same people—or even the ones they betrayed—to escape eternal fire.

The Voice of "God": A sinister, disembodied voice taunts your progress, often theorized to be the Devil himself, masquerading as a savior to watch you fall repeatedly. This post is for informational and archival purposes only

The Chain: It is not just a gameplay mechanic but a symbol of inescapable connection; a single player’s reckless jump or "desync" can drag the entire group back to the start. The Impact of v1.8.4
