Avolites Titan Pc Suite

Avolites, a UK-based manufacturer of lighting control consoles, introduced the Titan platform as a unified operating system across its console range. Titan PC Suite extends this ecosystem to Windows-based PCs, allowing programmers to prepare shows offline, pre-visualise designs, and control real fixtures via DMX or ArtNet. It bridges the gap between software-only pre-programming and hardware-dependent live control.

For theatrical or timecoded events, the suite includes a professional timeline. You can import audio, tap tempo, and record chases with millisecond precision. The Timecode Window supports LTC and MTC, syncing your lighting show to backing tracks or DAWs like Ableton Live.

For large stadium tours, you use the software with a T3 network processor. The laptop sends control data over the network to the T3, which outputs 64 physical DMX lines.

What makes this suite stand out against competitors like MA 3D onPC or Chamsys MagicQ? It comes down to workflow speed and visual feedback.

Imagine arriving at a venue with your show file already 90% complete. With the Titan Simulator, you can sit at home or in your office, build your patch, position fixtures in the Capture Visualizer (built-in), and program your cues. When you arrive on site, you just load the show file onto the console and tweak the positions. It saves massive amounts of rental time and labor costs. Avolites Titan Pc Suite

Avolites is legendary for its Quick Shapes. In the PC Suite, you can apply sine, square, or sawtooth waves to pan, tilt, dimmer, or color instantly. By clicking a shape on the monitor, you can run complex ballyhoos in under five seconds—something that takes minutes on other platforms.

In the world of live events, television, and theatrical production, the lighting console is the central nervous system of the visual experience. For decades, this domain was dominated by proprietary, expensive hardware consoles that were largely inaccessible to aspiring designers. However, the release of Avolites Titan PC Suite fundamentally altered this landscape, bridging the chasm between powerful arena-grade control and the humble personal computer. More than just software, Titan PC Suite represents Avolites' strategic philosophy: that the intelligence lies in the software, not the hardware.
