Even though Arrow OS passes basic SafetyNet out of the box (using Google's hardware attestation workarounds), some banking apps remain sensitive. You may need to use Magisk with Universal SafetyNet Fix and Shamiko to hide root. For users unwilling to tinker, stock ROM is safer.
To provide real-world context, we tested Arrow OS 13 on a Poco F1 (beryllium) – a device from 2018 with a Snapdragon 845.
The performance gains come from removing background MIUI analytics, thermal engine modifications, and a more aggressive doze mode.
Step 1: Download the correct build.
Step 2: Boot into recovery.
Step 3: Wipe data.
Step 4: Flash the ROM.
Step 5: Reboot.
Step 6 (Optional): Install Magisk for root.
Note: Some devices (especially newer Pixels) use fastboot instead of recovery installation. Refer to your device-specific XDA thread.
Because this ROM is so lean (no live wallpapers, no ambient music ticker, no useless background services), the idle drain is practically flat.
