Warning: Back up your registry before proceeding. This is for legacy users transitioning from ArchiCAD 24/25 habits.

In some rare bugged installations of ArchiCAD 26 (Update 3000 or older), the License Manager Tool fails to overwrite the registry. You can force the change manually:

  • Press F5 to refresh. Launch ArchiCAD 26.

    • Once the License Manager Tool is open, look for a gear icon or a menu option labeled "Preferences" (or "Settings" depending on your OS version).

    Archicad 26 (and other recent versions) handles language settings differently than typical software. You cannot simply switch languages from within the application’s Preferences menu. The language is determined during installation.
