The goal of this modification was to unlock the full potential of a FlySky transmitter (like the FS-i6X) or a dedicated multi-protocol module.

Standard FlySky transmitters come locked to the AFHDS and AFHDS-2A protocols. By installing the Multi-Protocol (MP) firmware (specifically the build from 200717), the user aims to:

Have your Admin password ready.

Low-level format takes 5–30 minutes for 2–8 GB drives.

Do not unplug until “Pass” appears.

With settings saved:

Upon completion, the status should turn Green and display "OK".

Post-install action: Close the tool. Unplug the USB drive. Reboot Windows (reenable driver signatures). Plug the drive back in – it should now appear in File Explorer with full capacity.
