80% of daily conversations use only 20% of phrasal verbs (roughly 100–200 verbs). Use your PDF to highlight the top 200 most common (look for verbs with get, come, go, put, take, turn, bring). Master those in month one.

Without context, a phrasal verb is just noise. Example: Carry out (to perform). A good PDF will show: “The scientist will carry out the experiment tomorrow.”

FluentU released a premium pack titled “The Ultimate 5,103 Phrasal Verbs Reference (2021 Edition)” for subscribers. It includes audio pronunciation links and a spaced-repetition schedule.

Cambridge released a 2021 update to their Phrasal Verbs Dictionary. While not a single PDF, they offer downloadable lists of up to 2,500 verbs. Their 2021 supplement adds another 200 modern verbs.
