Set in 1976, during the early years of the Spanish transition to democracy, the film follows the Olmedo family. Looking for a fresh start and a better life, they move from their village in the countryside to a spacious apartment at number 32, Malasaña Street in Madrid.

However, their dream of a prosperous future quickly turns into a nightmare. The building has a dark history, and the family soon discovers they are not alone in the apartment. Strange noises, moving objects, and terrifying visions begin to plague them. As the supernatural forces target the family's youngest daughter, they realize they have fallen into a trap set by a malevolent presence that refuses to let them leave.

Directed by Albert Pintó, 32 Malasana Street is a classic haunted house movie. It relies heavily on atmosphere and jump scares rather than gore. The film is visually impressive, capturing the 1970s aesthetic with excellent production design.
